These Chevy hood hinges are an exact reproduction of the originals on your classic. Most original hinges become sloppy and even bent, resulting in a hood that will not stay open and poor alignment with the fenders and cowl. Original hinges are often so worn that they cannot be repaired and must be replaced. These hinges bolt on and accept the original springs, P/N 35-10 for 1955, 35-11 for 1956.
