The 1951, 1952, 1953 & 1954 Fleetline, Styleline, Bel Air, 150 & 210 drivetrain is prone to wear. Bushings and seals will wear prematurely due to driveshaft whip and unbalanced vibration. When the seals and bushings wear out, shortly thereafter...you will have problems with fluid leakage and premature u-joint failure. Eckler's Early Chevy has this oakie bushing with a seal to replace the original without the pain-in-the-neck driveline disassembly. The new bushing & seal ride on the part of your original driveshaft that is not worn keeping your fluids in the driveline where they will do some good!
