CNC machined from a solid chunk of 6061T6 aluminum, our billet hood brace adds a stunning touch to the engine compartment in your 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, 210, 150, Nomad or Wagon. The Hood Brace from Eckler's Classic Chevy fastens in the same position on the underside of your hood as the stock stamped steel brace. They do, however, require drilling out rivets to remove the stock parts. New stainless steel fasteners and mounting hardware is included. Our billet aluminum hood brace will not clear the radiator hose on cars with the stock six cylinder radiator mounting position.
