Eckler's Chevy Trucks brings you this exclusive Hydra Stop system to add power brakes to your car. Why do you need Hydroboost? Traditional power brake boosters function by robbing vacuum from the engine to decrease brake pedal effort. If you have a high-lift camshaft in your car, you may not have enough vacuum to allow the brake booster to function. Hydroboost runs off of your existing power steering pump to provide rugged, reliable and trouble free service no matter how big of a camshaft you have chosen for your car while increasing your overall braking power!
Classic Performance Product's offers a high-quality direct bolt-in hydraulic brake assist system designed to upgrade manual or vacuum-assisted brakes with a powerful and compact modern hydraulic assist unit. These systems include everything you need to install into your vehicle. Most installations can be accomplished in an afternoon, using common hand tools, with average mechanical skill levels. These systems consist of a direct fit high performance, hydraulic brake assist unit (with options for steel or billet aluminum firewall mounting bracket); braided stainless or rubber, high pressure line set ; heavy duty power steering return line; pedal rod hardware and mounting hardware. Using all new parts, this unit puts out an amazing 1800psi at the wheels!
