Everyone grew up with an old Impala in their family. You also remember the soft, wallowy ride that came with it! Of all the vehicles that we have developed air suspension components for, the early Impalas have shown the most dramatic improvement in both ride quality AND handling performance.
The LEVEL 1 system offers a more economical solution to gain the advantage of riding on air. With the upgrade options, these systems can be equipped for any performance level. The front CoolRide® system for the 58-64 Chevy is a simple bolt-on install that relocates the shocks to the outside of the factory control arms. The air springs come complete with brackets and hardware for proper mounting.
The CoolRide® front system consists of an airspring, a shock absorber, and all of the necessary mounting brackets and hardware. The front system is very simple to install with the airspring and shock absorber replacing the coil-spring and shock is relocated outside the control arm. The supplied shock bracket does not require welding, but instead is bolted on to the chassis.
