This Chevy ididit black powder coat tilt steering column will completely change the way you feel about driving and getting in and out of your car. This column shift column is manufactured by ididit; the best name in the steering column business. It is finished in paintable steel and is designed to shift all GM automatic transmissions except Powerglide. The shaft at the bottom is 3/4"-36 spline which requires coupler P/N 53-117 to adapt to your stock steering box P/N 53-102 to adapt to a 605 or 670 steering box or P/N 53-229 for the Delphi box. The column is fully wired and adapts easily to the stock or aftermarket wiring harnesses. It also includes 4-way flashers and all knobs and levers. To adapt the column wiring to the stock dash wiring and enable the 4-way flashers, order http://www.classicchevy.com/chevy-tilt-column-wire-adapter-1957-1958.html. This column will accept any 1969-newer GM wheel or any aftermarket steering wheel. Or with the use of our adapter P/N 53-202, the stock original wheel may also be retained.
