This Chevy black powder coat steel tilt steering column will completely change the way you feel about driving and getting in and out of your car. This floor shift column is manufactured by ididit; the best name in the steering column business. The shaft at the bottom is 1" DD which requires coupler P/N 53-105 to adapt to a 605 or 670 steering box, P/N 53-108 to adapt to the stock steering box or P/N 53-228 for the Delphi box. The column is fully wired and adapts easily to the stock or aftermarket wiring harnesses. It also includes 4-way flashers and all knobs and levers. To adapt the column wiring to the stock dash wiring and enable the 4-way flashers, order P/N 22-94 or P/N 22-95. Perhaps best of all, this ididit tilt column may be painted the color of your stock column so once installed; it's tough to tell it from an original. This column will accept any 1969-newer GM wheel or any aftermarket steering wheel. Or with the use of our adapter P/N 53-202, the stock original wheel may also be retained.
