The MSD 6AL multi-spark ignition system is the perfect component to complement your next classic Chevy project. MSD ignition controls are world-renown, setting the standard for others to follow. Inside this advanced device is a microprocessor that monitors and controls every firing and rev limit. In fact, the new Digital 6AL delivers over 530 volts to the coil with up to 135mJ of spark energy for every firing! The new Digital 6AL are supplied with the wiring harness and the components you’ll need for installation. The 6AL is also supplied with vibration mounts. Both ignitions are compatible on 4, 6 or 8-cylinder engines with 12-volt, negative ground electrical systems. They’ll accept trigger inputs from breaker points, amplifiers and magnetic pickups. The Multiple Spark Discharge Ignition ensures a complete burn on each compression stroke. The result will give you increased fuel economy, faster starts, more power, and smoother running performance with a more even idle. This ignition system has been performance proven by professionals. Soft TouchRev Controls of 3000, 6000, 7000 and 8000 RPM will protect against overrev damage. Rev Control is adjustable. Rubber shock mounts supplied.
