- Recommended When Installing A 500 Series Power Steering Box
Your 1958, 1959 or 1960 Chevy or GMC truck idler arm is especially vulnerable to wear. The idler arm assembly is your Chevy or GMC truck’s pivoting support. The idler arm pivots on a bracket that is attached to the frame on one end and supports the ball joint on the other. Idler arms are usually attached opposite the pitman arm on the center link to maintain the center link’s proper height. Idler arms are susceptible to wear because of their constant pivoting motion. At Eckler's Classic Chevy Trucks, we understand that maintaining your truck's front suspension is vital to the safety of you and your 1958, 1959 or 1960 Chevrolet or GMC truck.
