For Chevy owners that want the best of both worlds, there's no better shock than the QA1 fully adjustable shock absorber. This unit is easy to adjust with just the turn of a knob with no special tools or equipment needed. For gentle, around town cruising or interstate driving, a soft setting may be preferred. For a firmer performance ride, adjust the shock for better cornering and the occasional drag race. This high quality shock features a forged machined aluminum body with a 5/8" hard chrome plated piston rod. It is high-pressure gas charged with a special double lip seal and wiper to reduce piston drag and guarantee against the intrusion of dirt into the workings of the shock. Polyurethane bushings and plated installation hardware are included. Compressed height is 9.38" while overall extended height is 14.38". A slight modification of the lower control arm shock opening is required in order to clear the adjustment knob.
