Whereas stock manifolds combine exhaust gases from each exhaust port on the cylinder head as soon as the gases leave the engine, headers provide a single exhaust tube for each port, resulting in an easier workload when your engine evacuate the gases. 1996-1999 GM Truck & SUV exhaust headers for 5.0L & 5.7L engines are designed for direct bolt-on performance to the existing stock exhaust system. Each BBK exhaust header system are CAD designed and are manufactured with 1- 5/8" CNC mandrel bent tubing for unrestrictive airflow and a one piece laser cut flange 3/8" for added strength and durability.
