The Edelbrock 600 CFM Carburetor is the perfect addition for your next Nova performance upgrade. This carburetor is paramount to the proper functioning of your Nova’s engine. It is responsible for mixing air and gas together in the right amounts. If too little fuel is mixed, the engine will “run lean” and potentially creep into disrepair. If too much fuel is mixed, the engine will “run rich,” resulting in a smoky, poor ride or possibly no ride at all! So needless to say, it is imperative for the carburetor to achieve the correct mixture. Don’t let your classic sit smoldering on the shoulder of the road. Our 600 CFM Carburetors provide premium mileage and outperform the stock QuadraJet. These carburetors work with or without an EGR valve and accept the Nova stock throttle linkage and transmission kick down mechanism. In addition, they have a universal 12-volt electric choke, vacuum/weight operated secondaries, vacuum advance connection, and PCV fitting. These carburetors have a single fuel inlet, which requires a new fuel feed line, but the fuel filter and carburetor gasket are included.
