Eckler's X-Change exhaust systems are designed by Pypes Performance Exhaust to deliver enhanced performance, provide extra punch in the passing lane, and improve gas mileage. On the road, X-Change X-pipes synchronize exhaust pulses, increase scavenging, and add up to 25 hp. At the track, they deliver an extra punch of power (up to 15 hp more) thanks to the built-in exhaust cutouts, which are strategically located after the exhaust crossover. Fabricated using the highest quality materials, smooth, seam-coated, mandrel-bent, stainless steel pipes ensure maximum exhaust gas flow, which can significantly boost horsepower. The seam-coating treatment of these pipes enables them to resist corrosion and extends the life of the systems.
The Pypes Race Pro Muffler features a 'straight through' path that guarantees throughput at a level of 99% of straight tubing throughput. The Race Pro’s aggressive sound is the result of applying a layer of stainless mesh around a unique internal perforated tube, accompanied by a healthy stuffing of rock wool before the unit is sealed. The welded case makes for a sturdy muffler that will not rattle. The stainless construction of our mufflers enables them to resist corrosion and extends the lifespan of the product, while their superior flow improves gas mileage. The 409 Stainless steel construction resists corrosion. The Race Pro muffler is not recommended on lower horsepower vehicles.
NOTE: Due to variations in different manufacturers headers, modifications to the length and or angles of the intermediate pipes may be required when connecting to the header collectors.
