2014 COPO Camaro #001 Sold at Barrett-Jackson

Mostly because they received all of the $700,000 proceeds from the first production COPO Chevrolet Camaro for the 2014 model year that was just sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. 
The COPO Camaro that was auctioned off an 5.7L V8 engine fitted with an enormous 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger. The power is then sent to the rear wheels via a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Keep in mind that the COPO Camaro is not street legal, but is an NHRA-sanctioned drag racer.
