It’s always a pleasure to show off your pride and joy at a local car meet, or classic car showing. But if there’s anything better than having the general public admire your ride, it’s having the public admire it in a time-period correct display. If that piques your interest, you’re in luck. The National Corvette Museum is looking for Corvettes to fill in its various displays, and they want your help.

The NCM is seeking Corvettes for the Performance area, think race-ready versions of the Corvette, and looking for Corvettes from model years 1954 through 1962, and 1967 for the Nostalgia area.

The Nostalgia area encompasses the Main Street, U.S.A., Mobil gas station, Route 66 and the Corvette dealership displays, so there are plenty of places your classic Corvette can end up should you submit for consideration.

The NCM says those looking to donate their cars must be current members of the museum and will be responsible for handling and shipping the car to them. Obviously, the vehicle must be stock, unless it’s being submitted for the performance display.

Be prepared to give your vehicle up for at least a year for the display, but loan periods may be negotiated. For those looking for more information on the submission process, you can find that by following the link here.
